About this artwork
The painting represents a naked and tanned woman who plunges into the water. The subject is unaware that he is being watched. She is from behind and is busy tying the braid. The sensuality of the body is enhanced by the anti-naturalistic color contrasts that nevertheless make the brightness blinding in full sun. The water is yellow green and blue while the woman's complexion is an intense brick color.
