It's My Turn is the most chromatically intense painting in the Wild collection. The blue field was built first, deep teal and cerulean laid in large sweeping arcs across the upper two thirds of the canvas. Then the red arrived over it, fast and directional, moving upward from the lower right with the force of something that has been waiting.
