Recognition arrives in the middle of the familiar feeling. You have been here before. The pattern surfaces again, and with it the question of whether this time the response will be different.
The right field carries what has accumulated: teal, red, dusty rose, and grey-green in layered rectangular forms, marks settled into their places. White circular lines move through it in soft continuous loops, still turning.
Then the yellow arrives, loaded and… fast, thick decisive strokes cutting diagonally across the full width of the canvas, crossing everything beneath without erasing any of it. The previous record remains visible inside the new response. The pattern is recognized. The response shifts. The surface holds both simultaneously, the knowing and the still becoming.
