About this artwork
This set of two original works represents a diptych dedicated to the resilience and vibrant energy of nature. In these canvases, I explored the contrast between the immutable strength of rock and the delicacy of cherry blossoms (Sakura). I use a highly textured oil technique (impasto) to give the petals a three-dimensional texture that makes them emerge from the surface, inviting the viewer to touch them. While the first piece celebrates life climbing…
over stone, the second shows the beauty that defies the abyss. Together, they create a harmonious dialogue of hope and rebirth, ideal for decorating contemporary spaces with a touch of textural elegance.
