About this artwork
I call this work "Aurea"—a semi-abstract floral painting in which I interweave color, structure, and light. Against a luminous, turquoise background, blossoms unfold in vibrant magenta and deep blue. The forms are not naturalistic, but rather suggested—they exist between perception and sensation, between surface and depth.
In the upper part of the image, I've incorporated gold. It shimmers subtly in the background and catches the light, revealing… new nuances depending on the viewing angle. For me, "Aurea" is a dialogue between blossom and space, between color and light – an expression of vibrancy, energy, and a touch of precious stillness.
