About this artwork
"Mirror on the world" is an illustration made with colored pencils (Faber Castell polychromos) on 200g/m2 A4 paper, inspired by a photograph by Gustavo García-Villa @lamasdolorosa with @amnak as a model. In this work, I wanted to elegantly represent the erotic strength of a fleshy and muscular male body. The green colored pencil brings a deep, raw and mysterious energy, while the absence of a face invites us to focus on the very essence of the body.…
Eroticism is rarely represented in art in men, generally reserved for the female body; it is a theme that I am very interested in developing.
