About this artwork
Le Plus Beau Jardin is a garden that follows no rules. It grows freely, without a fixed plan, like happy memories that appear when we least expect them. I let the colors meet, brush against each other, and sometimes collide—like flowers choosing for themselves where to bloom.
The blues bring breath, air, and freshness. The pinks speak of tenderness, softness, and a delicate sense of joy. Deeper, darker touches ground the garden in reality, keeping… it from becoming too perfect or too polite. This garden is alive; it breathes and shifts with every gaze.
This is not a place meant to be visited quietly. It is an inner garden—an emotional space where feelings move freely and imperfection becomes beauty. To me, it is the most beautiful garden because it is never still; it continues to grow in the imagination of whoever looks at it.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
