Tomorrow
This painting is all about hope and looking forward. When I was working on Tomorrow, I wasn’t thinking about yesterday or even today—I was painting the feeling of what comes next. The colors are layered and messy, just like life, but there’s also light, movement, and a sense of something new opening up.
For me, it’s a reminder that no matter how heavy today feels, tomorrow always brings a chance to start again. I hope when you look at it,… you feel that same energy—that spark of possibility waiting for you in the next day.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
