About this artwork
Have you been to Bermuda? It is such a beautiful little island, houses are painted with pastel colours, the sand is pink and the colour of the ocean is amazing. We spend 4 wonderful years in Bermuda and may be one day we will go back for visiting.
I used acrylic paint and spray paint. When it sells I will apply layers of glossy varnish. The sides will be the continuity of the painting.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
