About this artwork
In Claim 125, I delve deep into my imagination of an endless, blooming field—a place between reality and memory. The canvas is covered with countless dots of color that condense into a dense, vibrant surface. For me, it's not a concrete motif, but rather a feeling: the sensation of abundance, lightness, and the rush of a warm summer day.
I work with layers and a rhythmic application of color that spreads almost like a visual flicker. Yellow dominates—it… represents energy and light—accompanied by vibrant accents of blue, red, and violet. The colors don't meet randomly, but follow an inner pulse, an intuitive composition.
The work is intended to invite one to linger. It doesn't tell a story, but rather leaves room for many. Those who engage with it can stroll within it, immerse themselves in it, or simply enjoy the movement of the paint.
