About this artwork
In this painting, I work with an intense red surface crisscrossed by numerous colored traces and splashes. Turquoise, yellow, and green accents repeatedly break through the dominant red, creating a vibrant network of movement and energy.
I apply the paint in several layers – by pouring, spraying, and spontaneous gestures. This creates a dense, vibrant surface in which countless small structures and details can be discovered. Despite the apparent… spontaneity, a harmonious balance develops between color intensity and rhythmic order.
For me, Claim 184 represents the power of color itself – a luminous, expressive abstract image that unfolds a strong presence in the room through its energy and warmth.
