Claim 130 – My Homage to Light and Nature
In my work "Claim 130" I tried to capture the subtle nuances and the quiet power of nature in an abstract way. This 90 x 80 cm painting, which I created in 2019, combines delicate earth tones with light accents of green, blue, red and orange. The transparent, multi-layered application of paint creates a depth that makes the picture appear almost as if it were bathed in soft light.
With "Claim 130" I wanted… to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity, an abstract landscape that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the organic structure and the harmonious color gradients. The colors condense in the lower half of the picture and dissolve towards the top - a floating effect that is particularly effective in light-flooded rooms.
For me, this work represents the balance and lightness found in nature.
