About this artwork
“Claim 143” is a small but intense work. I created it in 2025 – during a period when I was particularly interested in the effect of colors in confined spaces. Its compact size allowed me to engage directly and intensively with structure and atmosphere.
I worked here with organic transitions, soft contrasts, but also with subtle disruptions. Especially in this format, every brushstroke becomes tangible – nothing can be hidden. That's what makes… such images particularly vibrant for me.
“Claim 143” is quiet yet very present. I see it as an invitation to close observation – a moment of intimacy between the image and the viewer. Even though it appears more restrained than my large-format works, it embodies the same artistic attitude for me: open, curious, and emotionally complex.
