About this artwork
I wanted to capture this view from Battersea Bridge. It was a warm summer morning and I really liked how the low tide exposed the thames bed, revealing the old wooden jetty. The shadows also created a lovely sense of depth and atmosphere with the contrasting light on the boat and Albert Bridge.
