I created Nora’s Guitar in memory of my partner’s daughter, Nora — an extraordinary singer-songwriter whose life was cut short in a car crash. As I worked, I pressed real guitar strings into the plaster, wanting to capture the vibration of her spirit — her music, her light, her joy. This piece became a meditation on love and loss, on how beauty can rise even from heartbreak. When the light moves across the textured surface, it feels alive, as if… her song still plays in the silence. Nora’s Guitar is my way of keeping her melody in the world.
I was born in Germany and now live with the love of my life between two places that inspire my soul—the Sequoia National Forest in California and the rolling hills of Umbria, Italy. I am a self-taught artist and author who has held a pencil, a crayon, or a paintbrush in my hand since childhood. Before becoming a full-time artist, I built and ran a multimillion-dollar company and later turned my journey of transformation into books about healing and authenticity. My art is deeply textured and vibrant, created with plaster, paint, and found materials. I believe art is more than decoration—it heals. Science confirms it changes brain chemistry, calms the nervous system, and lifts the spirit. I intend to create work that not only enhances a space but also quietly touches everyone who enters it—inviting peace, joy, and truth.
