I let myself be guided by the memory of a living, impetuous sea. In Foam and Rock, I sought to bring back that moment when the wave, swollen with energy, crashes against the rock. The material, worked in relief, carries this fluid violence—the marble powder gives the foam a mineral, almost tactile presence. Nothing is fixed: everything is movement, brilliance, impact.
