About this artwork
Thank you for sharing 🙏
This work stems from a transformative experience in the village of Gaba-Kemisa, Ethiopia, a place where life manifests itself with an essential and authentic intensity. In that encounter with the land, the people, and the simplicity of everyday life, I understood that the greatest gift we possess already resides within us: life itself.
The composition combines symbolic geometry, circular shapes, and triangles that evoke… movement, protection, and creation. Warm earth tones converse with the depth of blue, generating a space where the material and the spiritual meet. The spirals represent vital energy in constant transformation, while the geometric structures allude to the consciousness that sustains and shapes human experience.
« My art is a piece of me, of my personal feelings, of the colors that inspire me and it is created to calm the soul. »

He expresses his thoughts and feelings through art, which served as the impetus for the beginning of his artistic expression. In an abstract style, Masqali incorporates different textures and materials, employing acrylics, gold, gouache, sand, pencils, and various objects on canvas.
