About this artwork
This work represents the starting point: mystery and the unknown. I have used an antique key embedded in dense layers of gesso and marble dust, symbolizing access to our own introspection. The deep blacks and scratched grays create an atmosphere of refuge, where the ancient and the material hold a secret that only the viewer can decipher.
