Michael Utz is a photographer based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally and in France. Fascinated by music since his childhood, through his art, he endeavors to incorporate the associations, emotions, and thoughts that music can trigger.
Stylistically, Utz strives for reduction in order to intensify the selective perception. For him, reduction and abstraction are closely interlinked. He employs both analog and digital forms of photography in his artistic process.
