About this artwork
In this canvas, I've layered oil, sand and wires, to create an interplay of texture and fluidity, capturing an essence of connection amidst continuum. This abstract work harmonizes minimalism with deep symbolism—each stroke and granule is an emotive gesture towards the eternal dance of isolation and unity. It's a visual symphony that speaks to the soul, promising to infuse any space with its profound, serene energy.

Michele Krauss is a Chilean-American award-winning artist based in Chile and the United States. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally in Chile, the United States, Japan, Australia, France, and Italy. Her works are personal statements that explore reflections on inner transformations shaped by the outer world, conveyed through layers of subtle symbolism. Krauss’s numerous relocations have found expression in compositions that at times carry a restless energy or a search for balance — an ever-shifting dialogue between stability and change, belonging and freedom, conformity and exploration.
