About this artwork
This oil and sand on canvas painting evokes the spirit of summer and connection through flowing, interwoven bands of golden yellow, blue, and soft gray. The composition moves like warm breezes meeting coastal tides—harmonized, not chaotic. The linear paths of color feel both separate and joined, like conversations, glances, or moments that run parallel yet influence each other.

Michele Krauss is a Chilean-American award-winning artist based in Chile and the United States. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally in Chile, the United States, Japan, Australia, France, and Italy. Her works are personal statements that explore reflections on inner transformations shaped by the outer world, conveyed through layers of subtle symbolism. Krauss’s numerous relocations have found expression in compositions that at times carry a restless energy or a search for balance — an ever-shifting dialogue between stability and change, belonging and freedom, conformity and exploration.
