Created in 2016 at the Artist Residency in Chianti, Tuscany. She had no mandate other than total creative and channeling freedom as she picked up the energy from her surroundings. All her work was photographed in the environment in which she painted. A simple layered and textured painting with depth. Several shades of blue and purple, with a hint of yellow and orange barely visible underneath.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
