About this artwork
Many layers of acrylic paint have been applied, as the journey unfolds with each layer .Signed on the back and side as this painting can be hung on different rotations.
As always, I choose a palette of colors and intuition guides my brush strokes, I just let it happen. The title “Gone with the Wind” came to me as I felt a portrayal of letting the past go, and new beginnings emerging. Such as perhaps a relationship, or a career change, or following… your true self, or a move to another country. Whatever it means to you ! Ultimately new opportunities that you may pursue or that are now part of your life.
May assist in meditation, focus, healing, energy, vibration

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe.
