About this artwork
She was drawn to these colours (again) :) and just started painting, one brushstroke led to another, blending ever so softly…simply enjoying. Stepped back and “masquerade” jumped into her head. Then she rotated it and loved it just as much. The main image is featured as counter clockwise.

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
