About this artwork
With this sculpture, I explore the spiritual imagination of Ancient Egypt. The gold leaf, a symbol of eternity, captures the light as did the ritual objects of the temples, while the lapis lazuli of the base evokes the intense blue of the night sky of the gods.
By uniting the Eye of Horus and the Hank Cross, I create a form of sculpted cosmology: a space where vision, life, and spiritual strength converge. I materialize the continuity of the visible… and invisible worlds, of tangible reality and inner vision.
