About this artwork
This work is a realistic portrait of Amy Winehouse. Its original title was "Back to Light", a nod to her iconic title "Back to black".
In this work, I wanted to capture the duality of the singer, between strength and fragility. The bold use of acrylic accentuates the vivid emotions. The anise green and red colors are intensely expressive.
On his right arm, I painted his favorite tattoo.
This painting will bring vibrant energy and a touch of… mystery to any living space.
