About this artwork
Work that I created on a street poster base, which I work on to obtain a form that makes it a unique piece between a painting and a sculpture, then the work comes to life with acrylic paint, aerosol, ink, pigments and several layers of resin to create a vibrant expression of dynamism and depth.
In this work, I fused classic icons and pop culture elements, wrapped in resin and epoxy for a glossy finish. The acrylic collages marry the old and the… new, invoking a dialogue between traditional art and urban contemporary expressions. It is a hymn to the resilience of art throughout the ages, meant to energize and inspire any room with a bold spirit and a touch of reinvented nostalgia.
