This incredible sunset was witnessed by me one morning after an intense atmospheric river storm when I was living in California last year (2023). The starkness of the trees and the beautiful sunset were a must for me to paint. The atmospheric river storms are named as such because the storm pattern looks like a literal river dropping numerous inches, if not feet, of water during one storm.
