About this artwork
This piece had a lot of work done over the years. Essentially we got 48 dots forming a zig-zag pattern, there is a link between them.
Hence the title. The background itself has been layered numerous times. The 5 red stamps are self made, carved out of a piece of rubber. yes, they make it look oriental. I hope this doesn't count as cultural appropriation. Gotta be careful these days...
This painting ,even for me, is a bit mysterious. it took hours… of fine tuning, especially around the colors of the dots. The meaning? Everything is linked!

At the age 16 Nartana enrolled in the 'Fachoberschule fuer Gestaltung', followed by Fachhochschule fuer visuelle Kommunikation. in Aachen, his hometown. Nartana left Germany and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, eventually establishing himself as an artist and member of the Counsel or the Arts and the Society of Artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico and for the last 18 years living in Thailand.
