This elephant knows that.
He rises above the clouds not in triumph, but in understanding. He has carried enough — memories, distances, the weight of things that cannot be put down — and somewhere along the way he learned that the heaviest things are the ones we never speak of.
The patterns on his ears and forehead… are not decoration. They are a language — older than words, older than names. A map of everything felt but never said.
I painted this from the silence that lives between heartbeats. The pause after the exhale. The stillness that isn't empty — but full. So full it lifts.
Where Silence Has Wings is not about escape.
It is about the moment you stop needing to explain yourself to anyone — including yourself.
And rise anyway.
