About this artwork
How would you paint god? Especially if you believe in the trinity of the Bible: father, son and spirit. When the artist thought about it, she knew it had to be three independent parts (canvases), but very similar in itself. Together they would be "one". She also knew that, although they were the same in nature, there would also be individual areas that would emphasize that everyone is completely unique. In addition, the color would not do justice… to the subject and content of this project. It was clear that it had to be gold only. That's why she used gold leaf. Below you can see a texture that shows its individual character, characterized by small colored dots over its places, which are then coated with gold. The reflective metal indicates its purity, holiness and value. All in all, they stand in awe of these flawless bars of gold, connecting the features, in all its glory.
« I see my painting process as healing my own soul through the liberation from convention and limitation. The end product heals and releases other souls. »
