About this artwork
Allowed is about the moment we stop holding on.
It speaks to the invisible weight we carry out of habit, loyalty, fear, or expectation — and the fragile courage it takes to loosen that grip.
The work explores permission as an internal act. Not something given from the outside, but something we finally grant ourselves. Permission to release what no longer nourishes us. Permission to rest. To change.
Allowed lives in the space between tension and… relief. Between what was once necessary and what has quietly become too heavy. The painting invites a gentle confrontation with attachment and control, asking what might happen if we trusted ourselves enough to let go.
It is not about loss, but about lightness.
About reclaiming breath, space, and emotional freedom.
About understanding that letting go is not failure — it is self-respect.

I primarily work with acrylic paints, oil sticks, soft pastels, charcoal and pencils.
At the heart of my work is the theme of beliefs: deeply rooted convictions that shape how we think, feel, and act. These inner voices can uplift us, give us strength, and help us grow beyond our limits. But they can also hold us back – often without us even realising it. My work seeks to make this inner dialogue visible: to strengthen the positive beliefs and to question, transform, and release the limiting ones.
My art invites viewers to connect with their own inner world, to reflect – and perhaps to emerge from the experience with a unique feeling.
I invite you to explore my works and see what resonates with you — and who knows, one might even spark something deep within and speak to you.
