« My practice is a cooperation of my body, bits, pieces, grains, monuments, traces, pixels, gestures, and ephemera. I intend to blur binaries and break boundaries but this requires hustle. »
Nathan Storey Freeman is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based in the United States whose works explore themes of visual disruption, the personal as political, new ways of seeing, melancholy, militancy, and queer resistance. By engaging in "queer methodologies" of collage, print media, and performance, Freeman composes installations, happenings, and prints that complicate the body, language, and visual culture.
