The clock
This photo is part of my SPLEEN and IDEAL series.
I wanted to retrace the poet's initiatory journey through the masterful work of Charles Baudelaire and his collection Les Fleurs du Mal.
A clock frozen on the ground in an enigmatic place, an image in reference to the eponymous poem by Charles Baudelaire.
The poet is captivated and under the influence of the spleen of time, an avid player, a sinister and impassive… god.
The photographs that make up this series each bear the title of one of the poems in Les Fleurs du Mal.
