This photo is part of my SPLEEN and IDEAL series.
I wanted to retrace the poet's initiatory journey through the masterful work of Charles Baudelaire and his collection Les Fleurs du Mal.
Focus on a scene of ordinary life, photo in reference to the eponymous poem by Charles Baudelaire.
The poet's gaze focuses on a place and the banal is transformed.
Wine and opium and above all the loved one, sources of inspiration… and danger, transform the world in the eyes of the poet.
The photographs that make up this series each bear the title of one of the poems in Les Fleurs du Mal.
