This photo is part of my SPLEEN and IDEAL series.
I wanted to retrace the poet's initiatory journey through the masterful work of Charles Baudelaire and his collection Les Fleurs du Mal.
A wall and its imposing rectangular hole accompanied by a ramp, photo in reference to the eponymous poem by Charles Baudelaire (Spleen LXXVIII).
The night haunts the poet, the descent into hell is imminent.
Spleen invaded the poet's… mind.
The photographs that make up this series each bear the title of one of the poems in Les Fleurs du Mal.
