In a narrow Istanbul alley, a photograph captures a scene of vibrant innocence, almost suspended in time. Three little girls cross the street in their pajamas, their spontaneous gestures frozen in harsh light, between shadow and sun. Some are still licking their ice cream, their eyes laughing or mischievous, oblivious to the world around them. The contrast with the background—worn walls, a parked ambulance, engrossed… adults—reinforces the freshness and vitality of these young figures. The street becomes an impromptu playground, an ephemeral stage for uninhibited childhood. The balanced framing, the sharp light, and the diverse urban textures lend the scene a pictorial and narrative power.
