Beneath the monumental dome, the courtyard becomes a stage. The arcades unfold like a haute couture set, edged with calligraphy, while the light carves sharp diagonals across the pale marble. At the center, a stone pavilion filters the shadows like a perforated screen. In this sacred theater, figures glide by, part pilgrim, part urban icon: hoods, veils, dark glasses, graphic sneakers. Smartphones serve as portable… mirrors, instant dressing rooms; steps are measured, almost choreographed. The rhythm of the architecture—nested domes, serial arches, rhythmic columns—imposes its tempo on their gait. Between modesty and self-assertion, their attire engages in a dialogue with the space; matte fabrics against satin-finished stone, furtive gestures against the permanence of forms.
