About this artwork
Sometimes the artist has the name of a painting before she even starts, other times it doesn't come until much later. This painting started off as a purely abstract painting, but somehow finding the path made it so much better.
But you don't have to see the path, and the painting can hang any which way.

« I want the viewer to take what they want from the painting. »
Niki Hare is a self-taught British artist who has exhibited her work internationally. Principally exploring ideas of existence and the individual’s perception, she
spontaneously creates works that play with layers and narratives, offering a multitude of potential interpretations in her emphasis on the temporary. Hare's pieces ultimately act as a visual diary, and appear bright, intentional and complex.
