About this artwork
In this piece, Singleton poured raw emotion through layers of acrylic ink and oil pastel to reveal a surreal forest glowing with vibrant energy. The towering forms reach skyward, bathed in luminous greens and yellows, embodying growth, mystery, and transformation. The artist highlights the sanctity of the forest with this piece as an integral force of life and habitat for us.
She was compelled to make this painting after moving home to the lush… rainforest of British Columbia, Canada from years of living in metropolises.
This work pulsates with life and invites you to embrace the wild, untamed forces within nature and yourself, filling your space with a vivid, dynamic energy.
Made on archival cotton rag paper with iridescent pigments.
