About this artwork
"Come on, let's dance" is a moving and vibrant painting composed of three dancing Pop'Monsters.
Colors, materials and patterns intertwine, creating confusion, like when we are on a dance floor with changing lights.
Arrows appear on either side, directing the movements of the three characters.
By merging the vivacity of pop art with geometric and semi-abstract forms, the instinct of art brut and my love of ancient art, like here, Egyptian art… by their posture, I wanted to capture a spirit of joy and unity, symbolized by vibrant patterns and playful characters dancing under a sky animated by disco balls.
The work is enhanced with gold paint in places, which gives it a festive and joyful aesthetic!
A painting full of life and color that will brighten up any wall in your home.
Nina Bruneau is a self-taught, versatile, and visionary painter who continually pushes the boundaries of her art. Combining neo-cubist, neo-pop art, and art brut trends with urban art, she achieves a bold, pop aesthetic. Initially trained in the art of flamenco dance, she rediscovered painting after a health incident and imagined the "Pop'Monsters". Transposing his pain onto the canvas with colorful, funny, and sparkling characters, his highly colorful work is appreciated like a bubble of happiness, seeking to ignite joy and childlike innocence in the viewer. The power of art to heal and smile at life is at the heart of his approach. Nina Bruneau exhibits in France and abroad. She also supports charitable causes and has received several awards, including a bronze medal from the Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Letters.
