This piece is an Exhibition-specific print and was printed in 2020 by the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum in Cologne for it's exhibition "Resist! The Art of Resistance" and reimagines the history of the Mau Mau Rebellion against British colonialism in Kenya. While living there for almost six years I photographed the landscape, took portraits of eye witness and recreated scenes with protagonists. This resulted in the series 'Are You Calling Me A Dog?'.…
