About this artwork
This original basalt sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian contemporary professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, presenting an unique contemporary look and skills at carving fine art portraiture, deeply inspired by postmodernism, naturalism and realism. He has carved this sculpture in solid basalt, harnessing the raw, unyielding nature of stone to capture a visage imbued with resilience and profound depth. Each chisel stroke…
was guided by his reverence for strength and character. With its tranquil dignity, it invites contemplation and a deep connection to the enduring spirit of humanity. This piece will infuse any space with its silent, beautiful, yet powerful essence.
