About this artwork
Three buffalo, shoulder to shoulder, meeting the day the way our grandparents did: face on, no rush, no noise.
The grass is moving; they are not.
Horns curve like questions with only one answer. Their hides read like a history book: scrapes, storms, close calls. Their eyes say : “we’re still here.”
This is a capture of permission. We are this close because they let us.
In black and white the scene strips… down to raw truth: weight, patience, presence.
Hang it where you need a reminder that strength doesn’t flail.
It steadies instead.
That boundaries are holy.
That some moments ask you to stand your ground and let the world move around you.
