Ink and watercolor painting that represents the imaginary portrait of Laura Terracina (Naples, 1519 - 1577), one of the most prolific poetesses of the Italian Renaissance, so much so as to be defined by Virginia Cox as "the most published poet of the sixteenth century". Member of the Neapolitan Accademia degli Incogniti under the pseudonym of Febea, he fully fits into the current of Petrarchism which, in that period, increasingly transformed itself…
into a real and proper communication code, closed and defined, at the service of Italian and European intellectuals , extending well beyond the time limits of the sixteenth century.

Imposimato is often inspired by portraiture (of real and imaginary characters), the range of human emotions, poetry, historical re-enactments, the world of music and theater.
