About this artwork
In my work, I combined the serene grandeur of snow-capped mountains with the ephemeral sweetness of roses, using oil and collage techniques. Each brushstroke contains a dialogue between the enduring strength of nature and the transitory delicacy of life, a contrast that invites reflection. The intensity of the sky at sunset amplifies these emotions, offering a vision that instills peace and contemplation in every environment.

Paolo Mori (Colleferro 1967) is a self-taught artist active in Pescara, whose painting practice lies between figuration and the conceptual construction of the image. Alongside his scientific training in engineering, he developed a growing interest in contemporary art, fueled by his frequent visits to Roman galleries and by a family background sensitive to artistic practice. His research articulates across diverse representational registers, reflecting a complex investigation of the relationships between nature, science, and spirituality, as well as the relationship between reality, perception, and the cultural construction of the image. Mori's work is a layered reflection on images, cultural memory, spirituality, science, and nature. His primary interest lies in investigating the relationships between these fields, constantly questioning what is perceived as real.
