Isn't it the most beautiful oath than the union of two beings who love each other and affirm it before the law and God.
The artist loves to paint peonies, ephemeral and poetic flowers. When the peonies begin to bloom, he roams his garden in search of the first buds. Sometimes friends and neighbors offer him a bouquet to immortalize.
Dry pastel is a refined medium for capturing the delicacy of peony… petals.
This painting executed in dry pastel (Sennelier and Girault) is presented framed with synthetic glass. (framed size 50x58 cm.)
