About this artwork
I created this painting with the labyrinth as its subject, starting with a collage, then acrylics, and continuing a few years later with oils and oil pastels. The labyrinth also contains a notion of time, and stored away in my storage space, I sometimes return to rework a painting that no longer seems relevant. Thus, in the 2000s, I added more colorful layers, when the light was a bit more intense.
