About this artwork
I chose to revisit a piece of painting using printing ink on paper, a material I've used extensively on cardboard during my experiments with pouring. I wanted to return to basic techniques by taking out my oil paints. Like the fleeting images one glimpses in old castles, I had the idea of placing a face within the space of the support.
