In this work, the refined forms interact with bursts of intense color, inviting reflection on order and chaos. This painting is a hymn to passion and energy.
"Never Ending Summer" evokes for me a perpetual season of light and freedom. Metaphorically, it's a state of mind, a quest for eternity and joy, a moment suspended in time where anything seems possible.
"Never Ending Summer" is also the feeling of not being constrained by responsibilities,… of living without worry, in a bubble of sweetness and lightness. But above all, for me as an artist, it is a metaphor for the creative moment. A state of grace in my studio when I feel that a painting is beautiful and finished.

Originally from the tranquil scenery of Switzerland, Patrick Piccinelli set forth on an enriching academic journey that took him to the distinguished corridors of ECAL (University of Art and Design, Lausanne, Switzerland), a stronghold of artistic brilliance on the global frontier. The respected tradition of flawless typography for which Switzerland is famed, coupled with the deep-seated influences of Swiss graphic design, known for its austere, minimalistic, and refined aesthetics, significantly guided Piccinelli’s artistic path. His palette is firmly rooted in geometric minimalism, a stylistic reverberation reminiscent of the illustrious “Zürich movement.” This era of artistic zeal was pioneered by notable figures such as Max Bill, Richard Paul Lohse, and Verena Loewenberg, luminaries who were the frontrunners of geometric or constructed artistry. His works have recently been acquired by collectors in the United States, Japan and Europe.
